Macomb Park and the Ausable River

After finishing a shoot in Peru, NY, Dorothy and I followed Route 9 into Schuyler Falls. We wanted to see the rock formations and falls at Macomb Park and the Ausable River. We both had cameras out as we walked across the bridge with a half dozen other tourists. The rock formations were very interesting with multiple levels of water falls as the height of the river changed.

After finishing photos of the water and rocks, I noticed the character of the steel bridge structure and the developing rust.

As the water rushes underneath the highway a basin within the rocks creates this bath like drop.
