Being someone that loves big toys, I spotted a huge crane working along Route 50 in Maryland as I was heading to an assignment. On the return trip, I had to get of the road to find the job site. I found a crew that was constructing a parking garage out of precast concrete sections. The crane, a Liebherr LR1400, was fitted with a derrick ballast to increase the capacity.
