Here’s an image … albeit a bit dull … of the Chicago skyline from 8000 feet as seen after taking off from Midway Airport aboard a Southwest Airlines plane recently. The image certainly could have been dramatic and beautiful with a clear sky or a vibrant sunrise.
Nonetheless, it provides a great view of the city.
