I made another stop while photographing fire trucks with people for the American LaFrance calendar in York, PA. The York Fire Department consists of full-time and volunteer firefighters from several fire companies. Two of these companies had American LaFrance apparatus, though one featured an aerial from what was then a competitor, so that was not to be featured.
I provided a shot with both units and then concentrated on the 100% American LaFrance Eagle heavy rescue that was built in the 3D Fire Apparatus facility in Wisconsin.
The non-matching types of gear in the photos represents the different fire companies.

Then we went to setup a shot at their historic firehouse … and blocked some traffic in the process. We had a narrow window of time to accomplish this shot due to the sun hitting the area while it was between other buildings to avoid shadows.

I moved the grouping for this next shot to avoid blocking the signature American LaFrance cab.
