The idea for this image of the lighted palm trees at night which line the driveway into the Westin Kierland Resort came from my wife. After unsuccesfully spending some time trying to capture another dramatic sunset, we returned to find this beautiful scene.
The illumination of each tree was so even throughout the entire street that the image was simple to create with a shutter drag to record the ambient light from the sun.
