The Buffalo Grove Fire Department (my home town) held their 20th Annual Open House today which offers many opportunities for great images. One of my favorite areas to concentrate on involves the fascination that children exhibit when they’re exposed to the excitement of the fire service.
But … these images show that it’s not just the kids … it’s the parents too!
I prefer to use a long lens from a little distance with a shallow depth of field to accentuate the subject each time.
