Day 5 started with a walking tour to the Wawel Royal Castle followed by a tour an historic part of town ending in the Main Market to hear the Bugle Call playing which is played every hour from the tower at St Mary’s Basilica.
Then we broke into three groups for a three hour food tasting. The group I was in was lead by Magdelana. Our first stop was for pierogi at Pierogarnica Domowa, then below ground for beer tasting at Piwnica pod Baranafollowed by a traditional Polish supper at Restauracja Smock Jama, and finally cheesecake at Restauracja Wislany Ogrod.
