Thomas Jefferson Memorial

A quick shot of the Jefferson Memorial from across the Tidal Basin. I was without my tripod, so I placed the camera on the sidewalk and propped up the lens barrel with my wallet. While lying on my stomach in the dark and hoping to avoid being stepped on or trampled by a bike, I grabbed four quick exposures in 1/3 stop increments over and under to ensure that I’d have what I needed for post production.
