As a followup to last night’s post about the snowcapped mountains visible while returning from Terrace, BC, I’ve included a few images from the site scouting for locations in Terrace to use for the truck shoot.
We drove across a bridge when entering the town. There was a river bed with an island in the center covered with large stones. The area surrounding the river consisted of trees, mountains, and a great railroad trestle bridge. I casually mentioned that it would be cool as shit to photograph on the rocks since the fire engine was an all-wheel-drive 4×4. The response that I received was … ‘we can do that‘
So we headed down there trying to retain the remaining daylight as we were approaching dusk. It was an interesting and bumpy ride to get into position. Tonight’s post is not about the truck shoot … that will follow.
Here are some images of the scenery at the river and elsewhere around town.
