A snow capped Mount Adams in Central Washington and a view of the Yakima Valley on a beautiful but cloudy day was captured from the Selah Creek Rest Area along Interstate 82.

The image also features the Fred G. Redmon Memorial Bridge or Selah Creek Bridge which, I read was the longest concrete arch bridge in the United States when it was built in 1971.

I would have enjoyed finding a closer vantage point to photograph the bridge but I was on a tight schedule.
