Images captured around Palm Beach, Florida

Dorothy and I enjoy walking and exploring when we’re on the road. While visiting Palm Beach, we set out to see what we could find. Dorothy captured these images observing some of the uniqueness of the area.

We started out passing a golf course in the early hours as grounds personnel got the course ready for the day. One of the more outgoing ducks decided to stand tall and pose.

We happened upon North County Road which is lined on both sides by incredible Banyan trees with huge amounts of prop roots.

From the internet: The structures that appear like vines on a Banyan tree are actually aerial roots called prop roots. These roots emerge from the branches, descend towards the ground, and eventually root into the soil, providing support and helping the tree spread. They essentially act as pillars, supporting the weight of the tree’s branches and allowing it to grow into a large, sprawling structure.

Ever wonder how they manicure those huge trees or bushes outside huge homes? We did, until this trip.
