Hundreds of birds on the power lines

While driving to Dallas Love Field last week, my eye was drawn to an interesting site … hundreds of birds on the power lines … lining multiple sets of wires in several directions and continually moving in the area.

Fortunately the light was red and I was able to grab a few shots … I was glad to be in my car and not on foot!

This area was about a quarter mile north of Love Field … maybe the airport had something to do with it … forcing the birds to this area to keep them away from the air field?
