There are two main roads into Sedona from Phoenix. Highway 179 brings you in to the south, and West Arizona 89a to the north. Both routes offer breathtaking views of red sandstone and lighter. colored sandstone mountains.
This is a view from the Little Horse Trail, though I’m embarrassed to say that I’m not sure of the name for this mountain.
