Dorothy and I took a late afternoon walk along the beach on Sullivan’s Island near the southernmost tip and waited to see what type of sunset there would be. We were not dissapointed. The sun dropped behind homes and offered a silhouette of the unique lighthouse.
The cloud patterns and the seagulls were a bonus for the composition of tthise image. I opted to let the foreground detail go to black as it was not necessary for the dramatic feel of the image that I wanted to portray.
