New South Wales Fire & Rescue

Several months ago, My son Scott traveled to Australia and New Zealand. While visiting these countries, he was good enough to seek out some of the local fire brigades for his father, a lifelong fire fan. In Australia, he stopped by a New South Wales Fire & Rescue station in BATEAU BAY. The on-duty staff that he met was gracious and welcoming. They pulled the apparatus out for photos … a Tele-Squrt 50 on a Scania chassis … and accepted a US fire service t-shirt. In return, they showered him with a shirt, three hats, and a badge as gifts …. which made their way to me, for inclusion in my collection.

Thank you Scott for the perfectly posed and lit photos, and for taking the time to visit with the firefighters for me.

Thank you to the firefighters of the Bateau Bay station for your generosity and time.
